About SquadWipe
SquadWipe is where Rust players find a squad for one wipe. A captain posts a lobby for a server and a wipe with the roles still needed, players apply for a slot, and the board ranks lobbies by the hours you would be online together.
How it works
- Sign in with Steam, and we pull in your Rust hours. We never ask for a password.
- Mark the evenings you usually play on the Hours page, which only you can see.
- Find a lobby on the board, ordered by overlap, and apply for a slot.
- Once the captain accepts, you have 24 hours to confirm, and after that you can see each other's Steam and Discord.
- After the wipe your squad vouches for each other, and those vouches build the record that goes with you to the next lobby.
Why SquadWipe exists
Because Rust is better together. The people you play with decide how good a wipe is, so lobbies are ranked by the hours you would be online together and every squad leaves a record of how its members rated each other.
What it does not do
SquadWipe does not form squads for you, because captains choose who to accept and players choose where to apply, and we only rank. It also does not run trades or chat, and the servers page exists so that a lobby can be tied to a server and a wipe.
